NRS ONE is the only bicycle brake in the market featuring a patented one-piece design that enables the most prompt and effortless brake replacement. Since 1994, NUCAP has been a leader in brake safety, having developed braking solutions with the world’s top brands in more than 90 countries.

NUCAP revolutionized the brake market by developing and introducing NUCAP Retention System (NRS) - a mechanical retention feature that enables the steel to be coated prior to pressing friction composites such as ceramics, metallic, or organics via flash molding, positive molding or cold fusion technology. This game changing NRS technology was presented the PACE award where the judges cited “NRS is a compelling example of an innovative solution to an unsatisfactory but accepted process in the automotive industry”.

With cycling being one of our passions, we challenged our engineers to come up with an optimum friction material that satisfied road, mountain and e-bike cycling enthusiasts.  Our semi-metallic brake material has been perfected over many years of extensive lab and field testing and professional feedback.
